Bread, Family, Juanita Glor, Rolls
½ cup shortening
½ cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 pkg. yeast
1 cup warm water
4 cups flour
Combine shortening, sugar, and salt. Add the beaten eggs, and blend. Dissolve yeast in 3 tsp. warm water. Add 1cup warm water, and 2 cups flour. Mix well. Add rest of the flour and mix. Put dough on piece of wax paper or dough board. Knead until smooth. Put dough back in clean bowl. Cover and let rise. Refrigerate until ready to use or go ahead and form rolls. Let rise. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or till nice and brown. (I think it takes much longer than 10 minutes.) Butter top of rolls while hot.
